What is REJURAN®?

REJURAN® is a New concept Bio-Regenerator made of polynucleotides (PN), which are DNA fragments of a specific size derived from wild salmon. REJURAN® PN are slow-degrading DNA fragments that stimulate regeneration and repair damaged skin while reducing unwanted inflammation. This helps to keep the treated area young and healthy by delivering bio-compatible PN directly into skin, improving its overall physiological condition from the inside out. PN is proven to be highly compatible to human skin. The benefitted areas include forehead, temples, cheeks and peri-orbital area.

What are the side effects?

REJURAN® is composed of bio-compatible DNA fragments. It may composed of: 

  • minor redness or itching

  • injection marks or small visible bumps, but these will subside in 1-2 days

  • minor flaking, dryness and peeling may last several days. 

REJURAN® injectables are included in the Australian Registered of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) and exported in more than 20 countries.

What should I do before treatment?

At least 1 week Before Treatment

  • Avoid blood-thinning agents like: Aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and Vitamin E as it can increase the risk of bruising and bleeding.

  • ALWAYS CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STOPPING ANY OF YOUR REGULAR MEDICATIONS.

  • No laser, intense facials, or skin treatments to avoid skin irritation.

  • Stay hydrated - well-hydrated skin responds better.

2-3 Days Before Treatment

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine - they can increase bruising risk

  • Stop active skincare ingredients such as: Retinoids (Retinol, Tretinoin), AHAs/BHAs (Glycolic acid, Salicylic acid), Vitamin C (high concentrations)

  • No waxing, threading, or exfoliating in the treatment area.

On the Day of Treatment

  • Wash your face with a gentle cleanser; don’t apply makeup, moisturiser, or sunscreen.

  • Wear comfortable clothing, especially if your neck or décolletage is being treated.

  • Eat a light meal before your appointment to avoid dizziness or nausea.

  • Inform your practitioner if: 

    • You are pregnant or breastfeeding 

    • You have a history of keloids, cold sores or skin allergies

    • You’ve had any recent dental work or vaccinations

The Treatment Process

  • Consultation: Your practitioner will assess your skin condition, discuss your goals, and determine the appropriate product.

  • Preparation: The treatment area will be cleansed, and a numbing cream will be applied to sit for at least 30 minutes, especially for treatments like REJURAN®, which can be more uncomfortable.

  • Injection: The product is carefully injected into the targeted areas. The process usually takes 30- 60 minutes, depending on the areas being treated and the specific product used.

  • Final Touches: REJURAN® generally do not require massage.

What should I do After Treatment?

  • Slight redness, marks, or bumps may appear, fading within 1-2 days.

  • Avoid hot environment like saunas immediately after the treatment to aid comfortable skin recovery.

  • Refrain from excessive massage or rubbing of the treated area to allow natural healing.

  • Apply sunscreen with high SPF to shield and skin from the sun and prevent pigmentation.

How frequently is treatment required?

An initial cycle of 3 or more REJURAN®  treatment sessions 2 to 4 weeks apart is recommended, followed by a treatment every 6-12 months to nurture a healthy skin condition. This will be confirmed by your health practitioner.
